Cafe Serenity

Absolutely amazing environment and one of the most uniquely designed cafes I’ve ever been to not only in Kandy but in whole SL. Interior is colourful, decorative and there are so many things to explore. Despite being a such a compacted area, this cafe feels bigger simply because how many different things are there to enjoy. The interior designing where all the good things in this place ends. Although the food and drinks provided here are decent, they are not up to the standards of the premium price they are asking. With a premium price comes certain standards and expectations which these guys are not meeting. In a premium level it’s small things matter. Like serving milkshakes in glasses, making the presentation look better, designing the menu in a way to compare each beverage with prices so customer can make an informed decision quickly, and add that unique and special twist to the food only this place can offer. These are some of small expectations come with the higher pricing. I hope either they can improve these aspect of the business to justify the pricing or lower the pricing to match current quality of foods. This place is amazing and has all the potential to become one of the best. There are a lot of people out there who want to support small independent cafes rather than huge franchise cafes. But if these places keep ripping off the very customer base who wants to support them, I don’t think places like this go afar. This place is really great and city like Kandy needs more unique experiences. But not if it means they go against consumer values. I really hope this place last forever and get their act together either by lowering prices or increasing standards. Because at the end of the day we need these kinds of businesses to push the industry and keep the franchise stores at line.

Cafe Serenity is a calm and beautiful place with a peaceful environment, ideal for relaxing or spending time with friends. The atmosphere is nice and cozy with a good vibe. I tried the cheese pasta, but it wasn’t very satisfying. However, the place itself is lovely and worth visiting for the ambiance.

We found this amazing place in the heart of Kandy city. It’s got an incredible interior design that’ll make you feel like you’re in a dream. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic getaway with your loved one.

Some of the dishes did feel a bit pricey for the size, but we enjoyed them so much. Considering the fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes, we felt they were worth it. Highly recommended chicken pasta, cheese pasta, and waffles. Downstairs area to very pinkish and vibes here are pretty fun , upstairs to very cozy and charming environment...

The interior is beautiful for taking photos. The waffles are good but felt a little dry , so I wouldn’t highly recommend it. However, it’s a safe and cozy place for solo diners, with a specific table available for those who come alone.

Relaxed ambiance and serene environment. The atmosphere is quite attractive as same as the food. Food are delectable and bit expensive compared to other places in the city or I could say that the portion size is small compared to the prices. Five stars for the atmosphere.

If you’re looking for a pretty pinkish vibe with Insta-worthy corners, Café Serenity in Kandy is the perfect spot . Decorated with pink roses, floral swings, and mirror selfie areas, this café feels like stepping into a dreamy garden. They even have a cozy library corner where you can relax with your favorite English or Sinhala books . It’s not just about the ambiance – the food is absolutely delicious! We tried their creamy Corn Chicken Pasta, heavenly Strawberry Nutella Waffles with ice cream , refreshing Mojito, and indulgent Chocolate Boba – all so yummy and worth it. The staff is super friendly and supportive, making it a wonderful choice for hangouts with friends, family, or even celebrating birthdays and special occasions . Highly recommend if you’re in Kandy and need a place that’s both aesthetic and heartwarming!

This charming little café is an absolute gem! Despite its small size, it offers a superb ambiance with plenty of picture-perfect spots. The atmosphere is calm and refreshing, and the glamorous interior adds a touch of elegance. It wasn’t too crowded, making it a perfect place to relax. The food was delightful and reasonably priced. We indulged in waffles, crepes, sandwiches, hot dogs, along with mojitos, milkshakes, bubble tea, and matcha...all of which were absolutely delicious! It was a wonderful place to catch up with friends, and we ended up staying for hours, thoroughly enjoying the experience. A truly lovely spot worth visiting!
